With over 20 years of experience as Sara Gadd Millinery, when it comes to your occasion I truly look forward to hearing your plans, before drawing upon that experience to design & create a special hat just for you.

Sara Gadd Millinery was established in 2002; the intention being to encapsulate Sara's passion for colour, form & style into vibrant, hand made headwear that is a joy to wear.

One 0f our unique qualities is that the entire collection is designed & hand made by Sara at the studio. This allows Sara, along with the client, to tailor each piece with upmost care & attention. From design & creation, through to making & ultimate wearing of the hat.​
During a visit to our private studio, Sara will provide style & colour advice as you try the collection & chat about ideas. Selecting the right hat is as important as knowing how to wear it & the perfect hat should fill you with confidence, making you feel fabulous!

Sara graduated from The University Of Cumbria in 2002 with a BA (Hons) in Contemporary Applied Arts.
Sara Gadd Millinery was born shortly after & Sara began creating her first client commissions. Since then Sara has helped an abundance of ladies find headwear to cherish & enjoy.

As a designer Sara is often inspired by the intrinsic beauty found within nature & in particular flowers.
Her background in textiles & print brings a strong sense of colour & pattern. Passionate about colour, Sara loves to inject it into her work & this combines with her unique sense of style to create a fresh, vibrant body of work.
Whether dying materials, creating hand crafted silk flowers or talking about her life as a hat designer,
Sara's passion & creativity shine through.
